California Bank & Trust Raises Money for Community Care Health Centers HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. – May 20, 2006 — California Bank & Trust's (CB&T) Huntington Beach branch as participated in an annual fund raiser for Community Care Health Centers (CCHC), which plays a vital role in caring for the basic health needs of over 20,000 patients in 7 clinics in Orange County. In the Duck-A-Thon, people buy rubber ducks, which are then dropped off this side of the Huntington Beach pier. This annual event helps provide funding for the Clinic's children's and women's health programs, as well as providing mental health and dental services. The Huntington Beach branch raised nearly $4,000 for CCHC. CCHC’s health care goal is grounded on community needs, CCHC will strengthen its position as a recognized and integral contributor to the health care safety net in Orange County. The pursuit of this goal established two medium-term health care objectives, namely to raise capacity in responding to increased community need and to continue playing a leadership role in the evolution of Orange County’s health care safety net for the low-income, uninsured, other medically underserved populations.
