The Board of Directors, Management and Staff of Bay Bank want to express our sincere appreciation for the support our customers have demonstrated, especially during 2004 and 2005. Because of your support, Bay Bank has achieved asset growth in excess of 40% in each of the past two years. Bay Bank began 2005 with total assets of $36,000,000 and ended the year with total assets of $52,700,000. More important than our rapid growth, however, is the significant achievement of solid profitable operations. The year 2004 marked the first yeat of sustained profitability since opening in 1999. We are pleased to report that during the 2005 Bay Bank increased net income after taxes by 200% over 2004 levels ($231,900 vs. $76,000). The bank was able to achieve such a dramatic improvement thanks to the borrowing needs we were able to satisfy for many of our customers during the past year and the resulting loan growth.
